I like your suggestion about taking that photo in the "Golden Hour", I've never heard it called that before, but I like it! I can see how that would make the colors more warm & fall like. Re. your response to the flickr shot: Honestly, its because I hadn’t discovered that image yet. One of the delightful surprises with my new camera is that I take photos of what I see when I’m out in the world, AND THEN see so many smaller details that fascinate me when I get them on the screen of my computer. So both images are just small parts of larger pictures where I was capturing a large set of fountains and children playing. I had some hopes of finding some good smaller pictures in some of them. When I saw what I used for my entry, I really liked the bell like globe of water, the dark background with “stars” of light, the frozen movement and some of the shapes suggested by the water. My favorite is what I see as a little angel looking up to the “light”. After your suggestions, I decided to see if I could come up with another with your ideas in mind. I see what you mean and agree that the flickr image is better. Thanks again for your help.
