Stephanie, I had my statue photo submitted early in the week and no one seemed to be commenting on it, I think maybe because that one looked more like just a snapshot, because I had the whole statue in the photo. It was 42ft. tall so I wanted to show the whole statue. But since no one seemed to be commenting on it I deleted that one and submitted another photo of the same statue but I had taken it at a different angle. I was up close and looking up and I thought it was a good angle shot. I submitted that one either late Tuesday night or early Wed. morning. There were a few who left comments... Could you look at my photo please and tell me what is wrong with it? I thought it was a good photo and I think the statue is really a great statue. Could you take a look? Thank you... :) Oh, it's the one of a lady in gold... Thanks :)
What about a theme called 'Celebration'? That would include a lot of things. :)
Thanks so much for your critique and comments Stephanie. I really do appreciate it because it makes me step back and think of things I need to do to improve. I've notice you being pretty busy this week with looking and commenting on everyone's work. I think I can speak for all the members in saying we really appreciate that. I know that it does take a lot of time to do that. Thanks again for all you do for the site and for nudging me along. :)
Hi stephanie, I was wondering if you'd critique my shot for symbols. I tried to follow the example of your classic painting... artist with something to say, created his picture with the symbols and symbolism that would suggest meaning.

You confuse me, you talk about and demostrate details and unique views of statues, yet you say the one of monument that only a slim sillioutte of the statue is even visible between the pillars is "one of your favorites" The way I see it, if you were a football coach, your players would be lining up all over the field and scoring for the other team!
