Thanks DD, my daughter just brought some of the tennis balls home that she isn't using now, lol... I'm getting ready to go to a park for a light stroll with the camera for a little test. The poor camera has been cooped up for over 3 weeks now!,;-O

Bummer about the hummingbird. I tried the IR on a few others and they didn't come out as well, the sky needs color and because of the higher exposure needed for the shadows it washed out the sky. It is something I'm going to keep in mind for certain shots with a fair amount of foliage that "aren't quite there" as an option.
