I love the hot stuff, people look at me in dis-belief when they see I've got containers of Cayenne pepper everywhere, even in the truck. Good shades of red and the greenie helps some, but I'd like to see a bottle of HOT Sauce sticking out of this pile to give it a true focal point. Love the peppers.
I like this a great deal. All of the different color of reds. Voted

Thank you, Suz! When I saw the little green guy through the viewfinder, I thought it was a wayward pepper of another variety, but Cali is right... it has a zucchini top, not a little pepper stem.
Glad you clarified for me...but I have to tell ya...tht little green guys an orphan zucchini. They're GREAT fried up with some of these peppers and onions. Hey Wait...photo contest, not a cooking show. I digress...great shot. Good luck.

Thanks, Cali, LC and Kell! Yes, the little green guy was left there as I found him. I was going to move it then changed my mind, thinking it might offer the eye a place in which to "rest" while encouraging the green in the pepper stems. Shot as found, no post cropping.
Great variety of reds! Spot on with this weeks topic! kudos for awell composed photo with crisp focus. And, no thanks...anything hotter than a tomato is beyond my limits! ;-(

Thank you very much, SLR! Considering the large field, I am more pleased with this week's 12th place finish than last week's!

You're right, Tomel... Maybe another lighter skinned pepper there. Thanks for stopping!
I like the collage effect but wish the lower right hand corner lighting was a little more even. I am drawn to the dark area.

So tell us, was the zucchini at the bottom left intentional? Fun little twist if I say so myself. It threw me off for a moment.
Thank you for the great comments, Jack, GFA and Suz! They're beckoning... take a big bite!
Beautiful clear shot. Mmmm....They look so juicy good!! NOT!!!
Habanero? That would require a "seasoned" veteran!!! lol
The hot pepper of choice to give beginners. Nice photo, good colors, crisp and clear.
