MCP, thanks for your comment and vote. I see what you mean about cropping more on the left. I han't cropped more on the right because I didn't want to lose more of the curvature of the street.
Submitter, I like your comment. The BW gives this a sense of sometime in the last 100 years. I might have cropped it a bit more on the left and a tiny bit on the right to support that sense of when was this taken; as fr as repetition goes... you got that hands down! Voted!
This photo is of Henrietta Road in Bath, England before they finished cleaning the face of the buildings. Now they are a clean tan colour. And yes, gfa, monotonous repetition can leave one feeling like a number. How about a number 3! lol
my last vote that I can give this IT really does fit the theme well

Thanks for comments. Glad you all agree that it looks good in black and white. The buildings were all black to begin with, and it was an overcast day. So actually there was very little colour to begin with.
I have come back to give vote +2 for now love this shot especially the way it looks in B and W and as for repitition it has loads of it.Round windows square ones railings and chimney pots great
I also like Irish am glad that you have done it in Black and white as she says it makes it more dramatic with a great Edwardian look,
When I first saw it coming on the screen I great shot I like the way you have taken it on a road with a bend so that your eye can follow it straight out of the picture

Very nice!
All around good photo. Definitely speaks of the theme this week. I like the curve in the distance. It makes it not so monotonous.
