Your car's paint!? I shoulda known! Looks like Ford's paint #04-1756jxl. And I hate to point it out dude, but looks like you've got a bit of a scratch there. Still like this shot very much. Very nice job with the camera!
Yay to your persistence! and the spider of course, and the clear coat... the detail her is awesome. Voted!!

and to think this guy/gal is about the same size as a eraser on the end of a pencil and kept jumping onto my camera each time I would get close to it. The "first" time it jumped, SO DID I! I'm sure I would have won the $10,000.00 prize on America's Funniest Home Video! LOL...not!

yes!!! Now gfa, the year, make and model??? lol!
This is what a "jumping spider on a car with a clear coated metallic gold/brown finish" looks like really, really, really zoomed in close. Thanks all, this was fun, at least for me!
First of all, thank God this creature was outside! Is this a glass table top on a patio table? Second of all, I'm trying to figure out what those green things are?? Lunch?
Sorry I kept skipping over this...but this guy kept looking me in the the eyes daring me. His/her little hairs add intriguing texture but I can't figure out what's the surface is. Mystery continues.

slr, it jumped on my lens every time I got close enough to it to snap a shot...at least a half dozen + times, but only when it jumped the first time did I JUMP back! needless to say, I was unable to use a tripod to get this close. thanks all for your comments and many votes.
Very nice shot... really cool to zoom in on. I think I can see the submitter's reflection in the spider's eyes. I think the spider is thinking.... "good place to jump". I think you were thinking "I think this is a cool shot." I think I agree. Did he/she jump on ya?
correct Talegi on the jumping spider part. Now, what is he standing on??? Bring him a little closer, look deeply into his eyes and let him whisper the answer to you!
I have to Agree ew,ew,EW!! I'd have smashed it. like the one I did last night. if I don't know what kind they are and if there okay or not. even then Um I'm sorry RIP. blah. great shot though. again ew.

Very nice LC! And no I didn't mind your comments at all. Good luck in the next week.
One of my top ten this week. I just realized that the textures on the spider are pretty awesome as well!

Mean looking little critter. Voted
thanks for the comment and votes gfa!
Using more zoom and backing up a bit may have made shooting easier and helped sharpened the focus on the jumper, they are interesting.
thanks MC!

Metal flake...
nope...Talegi. hint: it's what makes the paint "sparkle".
Oxidation?
Bammm on the car MC. Now, what is the texture that makes it look as it is?
clear coat... on your car?
jab, you're close with the color though...
nope...no table.
Is it on a copper table
another good try!!! but, it's not on a deck. Think, "clear coat".
Is he on the wooden deck?
thanks irishkell. No, it's not a glass or any other table top and those green things are part of who he/she is. thanks for the comments.

nope... Hint: it's something outside.
my guess is your kitchen countertop?
aiyana, good guess, but not ceiling tile.
could he be on a ceiling tile? cute guy
think that this little guy was the size of a pencil eraser.
Great shot!
not yet on the surface. thanks for the comments.
formica countertop?

a rare GPR spider sitting on your camera bag?
You're a jumping spider standing on something nowhere near me, thankfully! (((oo)))
