yes CALI I chose this angle for a couple three reasons. First off I wanted as much emphasis on the Veteran and patriotic essence as possible. Then there was the lighting issue with this shot looking East and the sun at my back. I realize that a viewer has to have some basic knowledge of what they are looking at or employ the zoom to receive full benefit of the photo. It's quite a joy to zoom in and pan around on with the exception of the pigeon poop here and there. thanks for the visit and the comment.
Sorry I didn't comment more last week either but was on hiatus again till Thursday night as you know. Did you shoot from this angle to get the flags? Otherwise, it woulda been way cool to get frontal view with mouth, teeth, Gatling gun. Still a pretty good shot.
Its always fun to see who belongs to which shot. Sorry I've not commented much this week, but I have been enjoying the entries. This Cobra is great and your shot captures it so well. Your eye for composition is very good. I really like the meaning in your caption and how it is also clearly shown in your shot. I love the inclusion of the flags in that line of thinking.
One of my top ten for the week. Its been a great week for me in viewing, but is hard to look at photography versus my favorite aircraft in deciding favorites.
That looks like a fearsome machine. I like the composition and clarity of your photo. The red in the flags on on the Cobra tie it all together. Thanks for the reminder that we need to express gratitude for those who have been seriously under-appreciated.

thanks aiyana and ArtLover. This is the Bell AH-1F Cobra. The Cobra received its baptism of battle during the Vietnam War.
I love the way you got the Flags in with the shot. if the wind was blowing them that'd be so cool. or at Half Staff. I hear there's some History behind this place. you should goggle it. voted.
