Bald Eagle released from the Two Rivers National Wildlife Refuge. His first flight after his recovery. http://www.greatriverroad.com/cities/Brussels/refuge.htm
Another photo where I can appreciate the story explanation of the photo and it's a beautiful recovering bird, For me personally, the photo needs a little help in sharpness, and focal point as there is too much on top. But, hey, I get how hard these bird shots are to get. Over all I Like the photo as a photo.
How lucky you were to be there to see our nation's bird fly back to the wild! I have been watching a couple of eagle webcams for about two years, from hatching to fledging and it never ceases to amaze me! Very nice shot!
What a wonderful capture of a great event. I am so glad you were there to capture it, posting and telling us about it. Nice composition and and you handled the tough lighting conditions well. Voted

Great subject and timing. Wishing there were less trees and tighter crop. Thanks for submitting!
