I agree with gfa... the photo is great without the story. It was in my top ten for the week.
This is a nice photo and a great history/story, so much so that the story over shadows the photo, (IMHO).
This is one of my favorites for the week.

This is really a great photo. I'm surprised at the lack of comments to this point. Here is another instance where the size of the shot on the entry page just doesn't do it justice. Zoom in on it. Imagine its on the wall of a gallery and your are standing inches away... and you'll see what I mean.
