Tree frogs are are so amazing, but I've never seen any with the red eyes in person and the finger really helps give the viewer an idea how small it is.
Love this image. The colors and subject are wonderful. I like that the important parts of the image, the eye and mouth, are sharp. I would like to have seen a little more depth of field to bring in the eye on the left but that is only a minor nit. Wish I had more than one vote to give. By the way, great idea for using a flashlight and good exposure. voted
Thanks for the comments. We went looking for and found this little guy in a Costa Rica nature reserve on a night walk. It's actually a friends finger w/ a flashlight shining right on it.
