I like the colors and lines, the exposure nice. All week I've been hesitant to comment because it seemed to be missing something(?). Medina may have hit on it. Shooting from a different angle may have added the depth this appears to have but is hard to visualize. I'll say it's a nice find.

I'm going to have to disagree with Cali. I live with sandstone all around me and I've never seen such colorations and build up. Its way too dry here for that. I just looked up the location for the gorge. I like it a lot.

Don't you love it when real takes on an abstract form? Texture, vibrant color, and detail. This one of those images where it is tricky to tell relative size. Voted!

Very interesting,at first thought to be algae, but a closer look reveals the hardness of the rock formations. Love the swirl effect.
