I like this, too. Very artistic and semi-abstract. And I like that it's somewhat panoramic, which adds to the movement overall. And I also like the "arcing" of the lights, which I assume is from a loose hand-held movement in the pan-blur. I can see this printed BIG and hung in the lobby of some corporate office. Really. Got my vote!

thanx sircreative, snshpall and DeedleD for you kind comments.
sircreative, i must confess that i really don't know what could be that light in the street. i have some other night shoots, but i like this, for the movement feeling and for the colors. and is, i think, my first attempt of panning :-)
I glanced at this last night when I was just too worn out to give it a good look. I'm very surprised that this hasn't had any comment since then! This one is a pleasure to comment on. I think its wonderful! I'm guessing that it qualifies as light painting which is a part of night photography. I like the colors, the framing, the mystery of the overall scene, but with a bit of very recognizable content in the bikers, which I'm guessing you followed a bit with your camera. I see you took this some time ago so you may not remember, but I'm really curious about that arc of pale blue behind, and just this side of the motocycle. This is nice.
People not looking at it are depriving themselves of a nice treat. Zoom!

Yes, I agree...great abstract. So colorful too. I'm out of boosts, but as soon as I get the one for tomorrow, I'll be back to give it to you.
Wonderful abstract. What would have made this spectacular would have been had you panned with the motorcycle so it was more in focus.
