I attempted to get a vignetting effect by stacking UV filters, it worked, not sure of the reception it will receive but there are times one just feels like experimenting :)
I just like this - the waves and gull are very stark and your experimenting worked for me! I don't usually like vignetting but this is subtle and nicely done. Good job!
I really like it! Even with the gull flying away from the shot, I like the effect on the waves!

Thanks gfa, your feedback helps and next time I try this it won't be with the subject in motion. I agree that the photo has a nice feel to it which is why I posted it. Thanks again!!
This is so close... The problem with stacking for vignetting you have no control over placement after the shot has been taken and here the Gull fading into the darkness and also may have caused the AF to lock onto the higher contrast waves which are nice and crisp leaving the Gull out of focus. Had the Gull been down a little farther in the frame and in focus this would have been a killer shot. I do like the color of the vignetting though and it blends nicely.
