Most of the time it is easier to do this type of shot with the sun when it is lower in the sky, it's easier look at and align your hand/fingers around it. Good idea.
Back to vote. I like the concept. Just feel the execution could have been a bit better. The thumb should have been closer to the sun to make it more believable? Also the crop is a little off. Otherwise I like it. Great idea!
