wow...surprised more have not commented on this shot, but that's how it goes at times. Good crisp focus on the primary subject with rich red color. I may have been tempted to crop a little tighter at the bottom and less on the right to just make the number of flowers showing three. just my thoughts. good luck...and kudos
It's still early in the race. Maybe if you crop out all but the one tulip and resubmit? Many time the community will boost photos on that merit. I do like your use of macro lens and blurry background. You have the right idea! Good luck

thanks for the feedback! i definitely agree - I had a few of these and unfortunately this was the least awkward composition... don't know what I was thinking that day!
But the colors and sharpness are why I chose it, so thanks for noticing!
Bright, colorful and in sharp focus. I would suggest that you isolate one tulip or include the other two in the grouping. Cutting parts of the other two out of the frame seems a little awkward.
