I have thought of this many times this week and do like it, however I'm not fond of the glitter either. I find myself looking at the glitter instead of the subject you have framed so nicely, and think Suz's idea of adding a drop or two more, (maybe in order of descending size), would draw much more attention to the feather. I can imagine this being very soothing.
Great shot, one of my favs this week. Agree with tomel, loose the glitter(changes the mood) away from the lines and texture the drops are placed on. vote +3
While I like the concept and the lighting (just not in the reflections in the droplets) I would lose the glitter. It really does not add to the otherwise artsy photo.
Very cool. The hot spots add a bit of "sparkle" to it, but there's so many I love macro photos like this, good choice of subject using a feather like this. GOod luck.
This is a feather. Like the idea, love the water drops and even like the little confetti. What I don't like is the reflection in the water drops. When you have a surface that reflects you have to be careful about what is reflecting in it and decide if you really want that in your photo. Otherwise this is an excellent, interesting shot.
While I understand that glitter and confetti is typically hated in the art world, I think that it adds to this picture. The feather and droplets are interesting, but the reflections from the glitter really draw your attention to this photo. I love it.
Wow. One of my faves so far. The droplets are a perfect touch as a natural magnifier, and without the spots this would be boring. Can you tell us how this was lit?

well done, one of the best this week.
nice shot and colors voted
Beautiful rich reds in this. One more drop and no glitter would make this perfect.
Very nicely done. Vote.

Oh to have had a red bulb in your lamp...regardless, I like you take on this week's topic and the beautiful quality of your water drops. Kudos!

Like the water droplets. great low light exposure and clarity. Not sure about the black hair and the confetti stuff.
It appears to have been lit by your basic table lamp... visible in those wonderful droplets! :)
