Soft colors work well with this, I would have cropped top and right to change the angle of descent. vote

I was shooting in the direction of the sun. This was early morning looking eastward.

I think the color being off is because it looks like you were shooting in the general direction of the sun. It will cause colorations like this at times. Still gave you a vote

I would have done a tighter crop to bring the subject closer too. give more content.
