Ahhh, one may indeed see instead a wall. Wars have been fought over fences that were considered walls and became borders between countries and neighbors. A similar debate has been waged between doors and gates. In this photo, I see a wall, a fence, a gate and a door. Worthy of further comment and debate I'm sure. On the subjective side, submitter, may I suggest a bit more brightness and contrast to your shot. Good luck.

but technically speaking, after reading several definitions of fence online, it would be considered a fence.
I am with michael on this one. this is what I would call a wall, not a fence. just my opinion.
