i see the color balance thing too now on my work PC. However, I think it's more of a sunlight thing than balance as the blue sky is balanced. If one were to shift the warm tones, the blue would shift the other way too. I kinda like the "warmness" of the gull.
Agree with GFA regarding white balance being off, but easily correctable with software. What I really like here is two things: the framing and the lighting. Very nice.
It looks like your white balance may have been set to cloudy or incandescent which should be changeable with the camera software, but otherwise pretty good.
OK, so it is a close crop and a back lit subject. Thank you for the explanation. Images look different on different computers, so please do not take offense at my earlier comment, I just wanted some clarification about what i was looking at.
This is a beautiful composition, but it looks to me like a very well articulated photoshopped image judging by the careful outline, and then set into a lovely sky. Submitter, would you please say more about this? If I am mistaken, then I will come back for a vote. Nonetheless, it is a very pretty image.
Nic eshot accented by teh sunlight great clarity on teh gull however I can not work out when zoomed in why the gull has a small white line around him totally?

what is not to like about this image. I like the diagonal formed across the image by the wings. Good exposure with the bright sky. Nice work. Voted

love how the sun shines thru the wingspan, nicely cropped too. Has a bit of noise in zoom, but great shot anyway.
